Le photographe Cédric Calandraud a grandit dans le nord de la Charente. Pour sa série Le reste du monde n'existe pas (éditions La Loco) il est revenu travaillé avec les adolescents souvent invisibilisé de ce monde dit "rural." Les balades à moto, les rencontres sportives, les fêtes et l'ennui aussi en noir et blanc sont parfaitement décrits, avec en creux le portrait de cette jeunesse française dans l'entre-deux.

Photographer Cédric Calandraud grew up in the north of the Charente. For his series Le reste du monde n'existe pas (éditions La Loco), he returned to work with the often invisible teenagers of this so-called 'rural' world. Motorcycle rides, sports meetings, parties and also boredom in black and white are captured with great accuracy, with the portrait of this French youth in the in-between.
