Between 1997 and 2000, the German photographer Jürgen Nefzger tells how a new city (Marne-la-Vallée) came into being and how a landscape was transformed by the installation of the Eurodisney park. The series 'Aux portes du royaume' testifies to the evolutions of the earth and its transformation by man. Nefzger is fascinated by these artificial landscapes, which are present in practically all his works.
