Réalisée dans le cadre de sa résidence au Mans pour le festival Les Photographiques en avril dernier, Marianne Barthelemy propose une nouvelle série intitulée Songes. La photographe y poursuit son travail de scénarisation du lotissement initié avec la série Mercredis Sauvages que nous avions déjà chroniqué sur LOT. Songes propose une mise en scène très forte rendu possible grâce à l'implication précieuse des habitants autour du projet. Une série magnifique qui évoque le travail de l'artiste américain Gregory Crewdson, en particulier pour son approche du traitement de la lumière.

Created as part of her residency in Le Mans for the Les Photographiques festival last April, Marianne Barthelemy is proposing a new series entitled Songes. The photographer continues her work of scripting the housing estate initiated with the series Wild Wednesdays that we had already chronicled on LOT. Songes offers a very strong staging made possible thanks to the valuable involvement of the inhabitants around the project. A magnificent series that evokes the work of American artist Gregory Crewdson, in particular for his approach to the treatment of light.
