J'ai découvert le projet immobilier de Poundbury à la faveur de l'épisode 3 de la série Electric Dreams (2018) intitulé The Commuter. Cette ville nouvelle a été initié par Charles III en 1993 lorsqu'il était encore Prince de Galles. Léon Krier son architecte y a construit une cité au confort moderne mais avec des habitations et des monuments de style ancien. Cette expérimentation urbanistique singulière compte aujourd'hui presque 6000 habitants et m'en rappelle une autre Portmeirion rendu célèbre par la série culte Le Prisonnier (1967)

I discovered the Poundbury real estate project in episode 3 of Electric Dreams (2018) entitled The Commuter. This new city was initiated by Charles III in 1993 when he was still Prince of Wales. Léon Krier his architect built a city with modern comfort but with old-style houses and monuments. This singular urban experiment now has almost 6,000 inhabitants and reminds me of another, Portmeirion, made famous by the cult series Le Prisonnier (1967).
